		Editions

	The Região de Turismo has published several editions with different goals


	We may consider three areas of editorial production:


	1) Prestige editions 2) Promotional editions. 3) Editions to support investors in the region


	These editions may be directly requested to the Região de Turismo, and the promotional editions are also available at the Tourist Offices.


	1) - Prestige Editions


	These are reference works which help to promote the image of the Region, its heritage, history, culture and landscape. These editions are directly coordinated by the Executive Commission.

	Alentejo and India, the Discoveries, again Vasco da Gama unites these two places so far away from each other

	This book was published at the time of the Expo 98 to celebrate the portuguese Discoveries and the participation of the Alentejo in this epopee.


	A Azulejaria do Convento de Nª Senhora da Conceição - Sold out

	This edition is the result of professor Florival Baioa's investigation about azulejos. The Convent of Nossa Senhora da Conceição, nowadays Regional Museum Raínha Dona Leonor, has a very important colection of azulejos (tiles), especially from two periods: 15th century with azulejos made in Seville, and pannels of blue and white figurative ceramics from de baroque-joanino period (18^th century) - Portuguese only

	The Região de Turismo Planície Dourada presented in October its new brochure about public art in this area. 	3) - Editions to support investors in the region


	Under this title we consider editions which aim at giving support to present or future investors in the region.


	These editions are coordinated by the Gabinete de Apoio ao Investidor (Investor Office).
